Proverbs 31:10 “An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls.” Often women shy away from studying this passage because they feel as though they don’t measure up. The enemy of our souls brings criticism or even in some cases self-condemnation. So, the solution is to avoid the chapter altogether. But today, as you read this beautiful portrait of a godly woman, I want you to envision yourself. I want you to know with assurance, that Jesus is speaking this blessing over you personally. I can say that because I know with confidence that if you have a relationship with Jesus, that in Christ you are the Virtuous Woman! When we are saved, we die to the old way of life and embrace Jesus. You are perfectly beautiful in Jesus. Jesus is working through each of us, to conform each of us into His image. Romans 8:29 “For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.”

Jesus has created you to be the marvelous woman of God that you are today, and He will continue to conform you to His Likeness for all of your life. The Love of our Lord Jesus shines through you to everyone you meet, but especially those you love the most-your family. Be Blessed today, dear Friend.
