Acts 17:28 “In Jesus we live and move and have our being.”
In Matthew 11:28, Jesus Himself makes a plea to anyone who will hear, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” A personal invitation from the King of kings and Lord of lord to you! Jesus Himself is wooing you and calling you. Why? Ephesians 3:19 So”[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!” Wow! To know Jesus personally, that’s our Lord’s greatest desire that we know Him. He has made Himself available to each of us at our salvation. Our response should be Psalm 73:28 “But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.”
“Nearness to God brings likeness to God. The more you see God, the more of God will be seen in you.”

In Romans 7:4 of the Living Bible, the Word tells us that we were at one time, ruled by the law. This scripture gives the example of being married to the law. “But your “husband,” your master, used to be the Jewish law; but you “died,” as it were, with Christ on the cross; and since you are “dead,” you are no longer “married to the law,” and it has no more control over you. Then you came back to life again when Christ did and are a new person. And now you are “married,” so to speak, to the One Who rose from the dead, so that you can produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.” Not only will we look like Jesus, but we will bear the fruit of the Spirit!
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. And another verse in 2 Corinthians 2:15 says that we even wear the fragrance of our Savior, “For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which ascends] to God, [discernible both] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” I am overwhelmed with the goodness of God even as I write this marvelous Word of the Lord!
Summary: Colossians 3:3 “For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” Now we are not only hidden in Christ, but to others we look like Jesus!”
And our response to the Lord will be- “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His Presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.” Psalms 27:4
